8.Troubleshooting:

Problem:

No Sound; RF light(s) not glowing.

Solution:

1. Make sure the transmitter POWER switch is ON and the receiver is plugged into a power source.

2. Check battery

3. Check receiver squelch setting

4. Check receiver antenna connection(s)

5. Make sure antennas are in line of sight of transmitter

Problem:

No sound; RF lights glowing.

Solution:

1. Turn up receiver audio VOLUME control.

2. Check for proper connection between receiver and audio mixer unit.

Problem:

Received signal is noisy or contains extraneous sounds with transmitter on.

Solution:

1. Check battery.

2. Remove local sources of RF interference.

3. If using a guitar or other instrument, check connection. Two transmitters may be operating on the same frequency. Locate and turn one off.

4. Signal may be too weak, Reposition antennas. If possible, move them closer to transmitter.

Problem:

Noise from receiver with transmitter off.

Solution:

1. Adjust receiver squelch control.

2. Remove local sources or RF interference.

3. Reposition receiver or antennas.

Problem:

Momentary loss of sound as transmitter is moved around performing area.

Solution:

1. Reposition receiver and perform another “walkthrough” test and observe the RF indications.

2. If audio dropouts persist, mark these “dead sopts” in performing area and avoid them during performance.
